The festive season is almost upon us and Goa’s preparing for it in full swing. Goa during Christmas and New Years is a real treat for the eyes and should be experienced by everyone at some point. We’ve made a handy list of all the reasons you should be spending the festive season in Goa this year.
1.) Parties in Goa
The months of November to January see a lot of tourists blissfully holidaying in Goa. During Christmas and New Year’s in particular there are parties happening a dime a dozen. Ranging from formal dances to parties on the beach, the options are endless.
2.) Breathtaking Beaches
Goa is a home to some supremely beautiful beaches, which offer you peace and quiet but can also become the hub of some of the hippest parties. Beaches like Baga, Calangute, Anjuna and Colva are highly famous and attract a large number of tourists. Make sure you visit at least a few beaches to revel in their tranquillity and sea breeze.
3.) Freshly Caught Culinary Delights
No holiday is complete without trying out the local fare, and Goan food is all about fresh seafood infused with local Goan flavours. The Goan cuisine is incredibly tasty, vibrant and full of flavour. If you’re new to Goa and not sure what to try first, you can opt for the Goan Fish Curry Rice, Prawn Balchao and Fish Recheado.

For those of you who have a taste for the sea, there’s jet skiing, water skiing and scuba diving, to name a few water sports.
